This front coilover kit optimizes off-road and on-road capabilities with a 60mm digressive piston for increased damping control, and bolts into factory mounts. The shock absorbers included in the BILSTEIN B8 6112 kit come equipped with an adjustable spring seat — perfect for leveling your vehicle, increasing ground clearance, and installing larger tires.

What does digressive valving mean?
Digressive valving is a type of shock absorber tuning that provides firm control during slow-speed suspension movements (like cornering or braking) but softens (tapers off) for quicker, high-speed impacts (like hitting bumps or potholes) to maintain comfort, offering a balance between stability and ride quality, unlike linear valving which stays consistently firm or progressive which gets firmer with speed. This design helps manage body roll and brake dive for better handling while preventing harshness, making it popular in performance street cars and off-road vehicles.
