One of the only CT shops that goes up to 42 inches — and mounts them right

Our Services

nitto logo.jpg

Most shops cap out at 33 or 35 inches. At NEORV, we mount and balance tires from 33 all the way up to 42 inches — and we have the equipment to do it precisely, not just barely. Every tire job starts with a fitment conversation with the owner. We map your lift or leveling height to the right tire diameter and width, verify clearance at full lock and compression, and confirm load ratings for towing and payload before anything gets ordered. We also don't use balance beads — ever. If another shop put beads in your tires, bring your truck in and we'll remove them and balance your tires properly. Serving truck and SUV owners across Connecticut.

What makes our tire installs different

Up to 42 inches

We're one of very few shops in Connecticut with the equipment to properly mount and balance tires up to 42 inches. If your build needs big rubber, we can handle it.

No balance beads — ever

Balance beads don't deliver consistent results on large off-road tires. We use proper wheel balancing equipment every time — and we'll remove beads from previous installs if needed.

Fitment verified before you buy

We check clearance at full lock and full compression, confirm offset and backspacing, and verify load index for your use case before recommending a single tire.

No Balance Beads – Guaranteed Performance

Unlike other shops, we do not use balance beads because they simply don’t deliver the results you deserve. If another shop installed beads in your tires, don’t worry—we’ll remove them for you and properly balance your tires for optimal performance.

Not sure which tread pattern is right for you?

Choose the right tread:

  • All‑Terrain (A/T): Balanced road manners; strong gravel and snow performance.

  • Hybrid A/T–M/T: Big lugs with siping for mixed trail and highway.

  • Mud‑Terrain (M/T): Deep voids for mud/rocks; expect more road noise.

Size & Fitment:

  • We map your lift/level height to tire diameter/width and wheel offset/backspacing to avoid rubbing at full lock and compression.

  • We’ll confirm load index for towing and payload and set pressures for correct contact patch.

FAQs

Q: Do you handle oversized tires?

Yes — we mount and balance tires in all sizes including 33", 35", 37", 38", 40", and 42". One of very few shops in Connecticut equipped to handle tires this large properly.

Q: Will 35s or 37s fit my truck?

Fitment depends on wheel offset and backspacing, tire width, and suspension height. We verify clearance at full lock and compression before you buy — not after.

Q: Beadlocks vs. beadlock‑style wheels—what should I choose?

True beadlocks are for low-pressure off-road use and require periodic re-torquing. Beadlock-style wheels offer the look with conventional street legality and no maintenance requirement.

Q: Will heavier tires hurt MPG or ride?

Larger unsprung weight and rolling mass affect acceleration and efficiency. We help you balance traction and capability with real-world drivability — so your truck is still pleasant to live with every day.
